MIC BOT
VIDEO EDITOR / PRODUCER /
DISC JOCKEY

Mic Bot is a devoted practitioner of the editing process. He sees the precision point nestled within the right tone and pitch. His scope of interests runs enthusiastically vast, and he believes that any subject can be crafted and delivered in its best light.

Initially working in short form fiction, his early projects explore odd and comic situations in the CanCon tradition of favourites like Guy Maddin, SCTV, The Kids in the Hall and Ken Finkelman.

Mic's second decade as an editor/producer shifts towards documentary, creating micro vessels of performance and interviews from a dynamic set of subjects.

Alongside his video work, Mic has produced and hosted many live music events. He is regularly featured as a host and eclectic DJ on AM/FM radio from the Maritimes to London and Toronto.
